There are some people I've met on line I wish I could meet in person, as I'm sure we'd be fast friends....and in some cases more..*wink wink*

Some I feel like are my lost sisters and brothers.

Speaking of which, both my sister and brother met their current mates on line. My sister had been married ten years and my brother 7.

I have a fairly small circle of online friends.. some dating back from five or six years ago.

One very good friend I ended up losing contact with. She only lived a couple hours away from me and we actually met a few times to hang out together.. but we've ended up drifting apart, I don't think she even goes on the net now. I haven't heard from her in the last two years.

There was also one friend that I left cold and in the dark. She was always so negitive and constantly complaining how life sucked no matter what you tried to do to make her feel better. I at first tried to tell her I didn't care to be around someone so negitive, yet she kept talking to me and when she did it was always about something wrong in her life, so I cut all ties with her including dropping my then yahoo id, my ICQ id..

Other than those two, I haven't really dropped any online friends..
