Nadine and Raymond grew up together, with the coincidence of sharing a birthdate. So no one was surprised when they married. As part of screening the fetus for genetc defects, the doctor notes that the DNA of the fetus indicates the parents are close relatives... half brother and sister.

Raymond's "Dad"( Mac) is actually infertile. Nadine's Dad (Cam) is the source of the sperm that produced Raymond.
Did they know Mac was infertile?
Were the parent couples swingers or swappers back in the day?
Or was there a secret affair between Cam and Mac's wife Rosie?
Or a not so secret threesome between Cam, Rosie and Cam's wife Bella one weekend while Mac was away?
Or did they know Mac was infertile and arrange an impregnation weekend for Rosie? Was Cam just one of several "sperm donors"? Did Bella act as fluffer?
Or did Mac and Rosie go the artifical insemination route, not realizing that Cam had been a regular donor to the sperm bank?

If they knew Cam might be Nadine's bio dad, why did they allow the procreatrion?
What will they tell Nadine and Raymond now?
How do we get to happily ever after?

If I were writing it, Mac would be aware of his limitations, and would have asked his neighbor and drinking buddy Cam to knock up his wife for him. Cam would have said he'd be happy to, but he wants to run it by Bella first, to keep things above board. Bella says fine, but she gets to spend a night with Mac. Fortunately, Mac has a nice big Rumpus Room in the basement, perfect for a foursome. Epic swinging ensues. But it was a one-night-only kind of thing, then everything goes back to normal.
