How did Bush get a second term?

despite 9/11 which was a big hit on the economy and Katrina which was as well

The over the cliff started in June 2008, EXACTLY WHEN OBAMA TOOK THE LEAD vs HIDEOUS ROTTEN CLITBITCH and was a shoo into win.......and WE ALL KNEW THE CONSEQUENCES OF THAT

Bush caused Katrina; conspred with General Republican Philosophy to kill chocolate people...

Now, I ask you, WHO WINS MARATHONS???

yeah, ciggs over here cost $10.00 for a pack of newports.

an beer, i get free beer.. so i dont care

Free beer sold here?

What's the tax on a thing like that?

I think for the most part people were still reeling from 9/11. There were problems but for the most part people liked how Bush handled it and didn't want to go with an unknown leader in the wake of the possible wars.

Easy answer, the economy was booming! Unemployment was under 5%, The economy didn't fall apart till a year after the Dems won the House and Senate. It actually started to decline right after the minimum wage increase went into effect.

How did Bush get a second term?
The hard answer is underhanded, partisan, corrupt Republicans. Gore was elected by at least 500 individual (that means you, people) votes.

Whatever the fuck happened between midnight and 7AM the next morning is the question...

I dunno. When I think about Bush, all I remember is "I believe humans and fish can coexist together peacefully" and stuff like that. LOL! He sure was funny.

The same way Obama likely will...he received more than 270 electoral votes.:D

Exactly!
By inducing fear of a boogie man, "W", and Karl Rove, were able to convince people that Bush could do what ever he was able to rationalize, however poorly.

By shaping the discussion in polar terms, he solicited the knee jerkers to back his perfidity, instead of a man who wore the uniform with honor.

W is a putz. Always was, still is.
