Even if it is true, those subs are too old and ill maintained to do anything worthy of their original design. Besides, unlike Americans Submariners, their sailors are not capable of performing multi-tasks and taking over each others' job descriptions w/great trust, skill, and capability as we are. We are trained equally on independant survival and coordination, with or without modern satelites and onboard computers. This much we learned from Germany as a result of WWII. But we are far more advanced now and can adapt and overcome accordingly.

Anything else I can't share with you. The feds and NIS alike would be knocking on my door within minutes. I have yet to meet a submariner not willing to take such secrets to our graves.
