Hey friends,
How are you???Tell me news...

Uh, news? OK....

Cindy Sheehan's still camped out in front of Bush's house in Crawford, and he's still refusing to talk to her. Film at 11.

I'm fine, btw. Thanks for asking. ;)

News....uhm, It's kinda creepy when you start every post with:

Rates about an 8 on my Creep-O-Meter..
You could just be being friendly and all, or I could be a little cynical. But other than that...news.....A man in Germany died while swimming naked after a fish. The fish had yanked his fishing pole out of his hands while he was reeling it in. Thank you natural selection.

Hah... you call that news?

Bulgarian archaeologists have found a treasure trove of 15,000 golden pieces dating back to the end of the third millenium B.C.E.

Now... that is newsworthy.

And this affects anyone who isn't a Bulgarian archaeologist how?

I mean, sure, it's interesting, but it doesn't really matter to very many people, does it?

What's going on in Crawford right now matters alot all over the world, no matter which side you're on, or even if you're on neither side at all. Hence, it's news...

I know, I know, I keep telling her to shit on your porch, but she insists that your rose bed is the best place . . . *shrugs* Maybe next year.

I beg to differ. I concede that it matters very much to her. However, in this mixed up world the answer to her question will not be:

"Ma'am your son died because I am an idiot. And now that I have met with you I know I'm a moron... and will immediately remove the troops."

Nope, the answer will be (if he meets with her) the stock defending America from its enemies thing... and then, then, he'll pray for her.

Therefore, who cares whether he meets with her or not, except of course, her. I don't see the far reaching world changing affects that you are predicting of this decision to meet or not to meet.

Plus, Bulgaria is well new news. Bush has been refusing to meet with Cindy for a longish time now.

Congrats on your baby being 4. Mine is 11 and heading off to middle school this fall. She's ready... I am so not.

Every day he avoids her, his poll numbers go down, and support for his war wanes. This will most likely have a profound affect on the 2006 mid-term elections, which in turn will affect the future of many, many countries. Camp Crawford is arguably one of the most important things happening in the world right now.

Bulgaria is an of-the-moment human interest story. Cindy Sheehan is on-going world news.

Except the world (or at least my part of it) has no clue who she is or what she does or why or anything...

I might be in your part of the world then, no clue who Cindy Sheehan is or what Camp Crawford is...then again I don't have TV and I really only read the Yahoo! Oddly Enough News, so I'm not really up-to-date on world issues.

HAppy Birthday Gracie's Daughter!!! (ok so by the time Gracie reads this it will be the day after, just thought I'd add it in) :rose:

Um actually we're only off by . . . two or three hours I think. It's 9:30 right now. (here)

And thank you. I'll pass the happy birthday off to her. I'm trying to convince her that after three you go backwards nd she's actualy two, but she's not falling for it.

LOL Yes, Oregon - west coast - northwest, etc. It's also why I'm on later than just about everyone else. Cause it's not that late here.

Yeah so depending on daylight savings or not you're either 2 or 3 hours ahead of me...it's 9:30pm here...not too late, but soon time for bed. I've been trying to have a regular sleep schedule: go to bed at the same time every night and get up at the same time every day. My dr. said it should help with the PPD. He said it's mild enough and seems to have a definite cycle around my lifestyle that I should try modifying my life first then if it doesn't work we'll talk about anti-depressents. It's been working so far 3 weeks with no cycling, just normalness. Not even any "baby blues" it's been nice not to feel like I'm going nuts!

YAY! I'm so glad you're feeling better. *hugs*

In 3000 years they will be digging up our macdonalds wrappers and disposable diapers, so maybe gracie's daughters' poo is really the most critical news item over the long haul, if this is the only 3 we get to pick from.
