Ok, this might not go over too well, but if you can, get a cleaning lady. I'm a gross pig. Left to my own devices, my house is a serious biohazard. I pay $15 an hour, for a total of $60 a week. I live in a 750 sq ft condo, so in fairness, it's pretty cheap.

At the end of the day, we all do the best we can. Having said that, you probably don't have fruit flies coming out of your garberator...

Well the guy pays me for the priviledge of cleaning my flat and doing my laundry. He's otherwise happily married but comes round to me just for that. There's the odd thing I'll alter or re-do after he's gone but I'm very exacting so he mostly does things the way I would do.

I have my OCD moments but I've got used to letting him clean up now.
