well if you do..you better brush up on your Chinese. xie xie is more like 'share share' and add a 'ni' (knee) if you want to really say "Thank you kindly".

Thanks for the better pronunciation of "thank you". Those are the only Chinese words I know thanks to Jackie Chan (Chris Tucker actually, at the end of rush Hour 2). I've been tempted to say xie xie when out at Chinese buffets but my next thought is, what if they start talking to me in their language?

I'm sure I would get a laugh out of it, but one never knows how they would react.
