I've spent more than 5 years in hotels (front office mostly)...trust me when I say that "pretty" maids are the minority. Most are older women (large non-english speaking immigrants) who are trying to support their families. And believe me when I tell you that most of them hate the guests...as most every hotel worker does. The guests are rude, messy, and generally cruel...especially to the maids.

But again, this is fantasy, not reality

I know that some of the posh hotels treat there staff as if they are second class citizens, and a lot of them are hired on a back door policy.
