Rob, I've been playing phone tag the past few days with the group rate reservations man.

It will be at least Monday before I can finalize our reservations and give everyone here the check-in procedure.

Once everyone is able to start making reservations I think we'll be able to figure out the roommate situation fairly quickly.

Just a heads-up to keep you informed...

I'll know if I'm definately attending on March 1st, when I get my itinerary for the next quarter sorted out. Assuming I am coming, I'll be trying to book a room at La Quinta. By then, I'm sure I'll have missed the group booking cut-off, but not to worry; it just means I'll have a spare berth for any late additions..

If the la cunta is full, I'll make other arrangements, as soon as I have a vague idea of where everything is happening (it's 10 years since I was last in Chicago - so my sense of the place is a little fuzzy).
