Info about taxi's from the Airport.

If you wish to take a cab from the airport to the hotel use American Taxi they have flat rates from the Airport to the outlying townships.

From O'Hara to Schaumburg is $26 plus a 10% fuel surcharge. From Midway to Schaumburg is $51.

If you would like to take a trip downtown a cab would be $49.

Our hotel is very close to the Woodfield Mall. A FREE shuttle from our hotel goes to the mall.

A FREE shuttle from our hotel goes to the TRAIN station - which is the cheapest way to go downtown.

And I am hoping we'll have enough people shuttling so that no one has to spend $50 from the airport to the hotel.

It was just info for those who can't wait or just have to be there before anyone else!

Just be sure that if I start speaking to loudly or walk with my hand lightly resting on something solid as I move someone makes me switch to soda or something for a while, those are the two main clues that I am really becoming inebriated.

That's an excellent idea! Not saying we should impose on anyone to cater the event (and no one wants my cooking ), but at least pop and beer (along with chips and such) could be brought to make the hotel stay more fun (and save up money for the other fun things). Besides, I'll be interested to see what happens with this group of degenerates when they get hammered.
