I suggest that anyone considering using candle wax in their sexual play take a good look at the BDSM Forum Library, which contains several threads on the use of candle wax.

As someone mentioned earlier, different candles burn at different temperatures and some - the more common ones, in fact - burn too hot for this kind of play. Hot sex is one thing, but burning your partner's skin and leaving scars just isn't very erotic at all.
