What an architypical English hero.

My flatmate bought the DVD box set and I'm having a Sunday watching them.

Ripping Stories, Heroic and brave, A leader of men!

Hip Hip, HORAY!

That will always remind me of Jimmy Carter's amazing gaffe at the 1980 Democratic convention.

Carter was making a reference to Hubert Horatio Humphrey in his speech, and substitued "Hornblower" for "Humphrey".

I was an very good TV series, when you are done with that one check out 'Longitude', an A/E series too... not as 'swashbuckling', but nonetheless entertaining, and British.

The name rings a bell, but I don't think I've seen it. I'll keep an eye out, thank you.
