Tracking this down should be relatively easy unless a serious state actor is involved. The sea floor of the Baltic is carpeted with sono detectors. Virtually everyone with a coastline there has their own arrays out. No diver is going to dive to that depth without having to spend a considerable time decompressing on the ascent. That means that the mother ship will have had to loiter there for quite some time. The only way to avoid that is if a submersible with it's own decompression chamber were used and even then only the most sophisticated state actors have those. All of which is to say there are acoustic signatures available.
