I truly appreciate your sentiments. The Democrats WILL do better. They have to.WriterDom said:On c-span now giving a campaign speech with his alpha male beard. I hope the democrats can do better in 2004.
CelestialBody said:WD-do you ever get off the "I HATE GORE" kick? Sometimes I swear you're so one dimensional it's scary.
CelestialBody said:Ummm...anytime he's mentioned on the board. I'm not kidding, everytime I see a thread with him mentioned-and you didn't post it, I almost clock to see how long it takes you to comment.
PS: I don't have a TV, trying to find a pic.
You're pretty funny about Gore. I can't believe you actually watched him speak. I don't think I've ever seen more than a really sodden sound bite from him. And I don't think you can blame his advisors. He chose them. They worked for him. He had some Oedipal thing against Clinton. He ran a horrible campaign in '88 also. He's what Jimmy Breslin calls an empty suit. That's why 2000 was close enough to steal. He should have won West Virginia, Tennessee. It shouldn't have been an issue. Arggggh. But I'll never watch him. Never. You like watching him because he's a wreck, admit it.WriterDom said:All Gore had to do was kiss Clinton's ass. But he had shitty advisors trying to remake him at every turn. What a waste of 8 years of peace and prosperity.
The man who is certain the internal combustion engine is the greatest threat to mankind? I'd really like to see your criteria for intelligent. Gore's book Earth in the Balance bears some striking similarities to Ted Kazinski's manuscript.Originally posted by CelestialBody
He's a smart man.
There is nothing quite like a fair and objective appraisal.Originally posted by CelestialBody
He's sitting in the oval office. Both candidates played the class factor equally.
