I truly appreciate your sentiments. The Democrats WILL do better. They have to.

WD-do you ever get off the "I HATE GORE" kick? Sometimes I swear you're so one dimensional it's scary.

when is the last time I brought up Gore?

seems the democrats did just fine in 2000...too bad a majority doesn't win elections anymore

Ummm...anytime he's mentioned on the board. I'm not kidding, everytime I see a thread with him mentioned-and you didn't post it, I almost clock to see how long it takes you to comment.

PS: I don't have a TV, trying to find a pic.

Perhaps your right. I'd try to forget him also if I voted for him. But I think it's been a while since I've brought him up.

I hate him too =

And I voted for him. I do think they stole the election by banning so many African Americans from voting in Florida, then not counting the actual votes. But Gore should have won going away. He's a souless clod. He never even mentioned the environment in his campaign, and that was the issue that was most mangling Bush's presidency. Gore should retire and write more books, and never mention them again.

All Gore had to do was kiss Clinton's ass. But he had shitty advisors trying to remake him at every turn. What a waste of 8 years of peace and prosperity.

You're pretty funny about Gore. I can't believe you actually watched him speak. I don't think I've ever seen more than a really sodden sound bite from him. And I don't think you can blame his advisors. He chose them. They worked for him. He had some Oedipal thing against Clinton. He ran a horrible campaign in '88 also. He's what Jimmy Breslin calls an empty suit. That's why 2000 was close enough to steal. He should have won West Virginia, Tennessee. It shouldn't have been an issue. Arggggh. But I'll never watch him. Never. You like watching him because he's a wreck, admit it.

Gore couldn't run his fucking campaign. Imagine how well he'd be doing as prez?

Can't wait to see the next class-warfare clown.

He's a smart man.
The man who is certain the internal combustion engine is the greatest threat to mankind? I'd really like to see your criteria for intelligent. Gore's book Earth in the Balance bears some striking similarities to Ted Kazinski's manuscript.
Perhaps Al shoud recruit Ted as his running mate since they share some fundamental values and principles.

He's sitting in the oval office. Both candidates played the class factor equally.
There is nothing quite like a fair and objective appraisal.

And, BTW, every time the Florida votes were recounted, the result came out the same, Bush won. The elections theft effort was strictly Gore and company and they failed despite their best efforts. And did you notice how very quiet the media was after making such a big deal about their $1,000,000 recount effort when the results came out the way they DIDN'T want?

I find that particularly informative.

Every time the votes have been counted, Gore got more than Bush by over a .5 million.

In Florida the votes have only been all counted once and for some reason those results were buried after the 11/9 bombing. Why do you suppose that the conservative media would choose not to publish the results of the only independent comprehensive recount of the Florida votes? Undermining a nonelected president during war might be considered bad taste even by conservative standards.
