Hey,
I've recently came upon that term and never felt so seen.
I've been identifying as a lesbian because I fall only for women but on the other hand I sometimes feel attracted to men, sexually.
But I haven't been with men since my teens.
I guess I'm looking for people, men or women who share this.
What are your thoughts or experience on the subject ?

It makes complete sense that romantic orientation and sexual orientation don't always match.

I've been in a relationship where the partner's sexual orientation doesn't even overlap with their romantic orientation. Yours does, so, hopefully that bodes well for your relationships?

I was also in a romantic relationship with a person who was constantly threatened by my bisexuality, completely convinced over and vocal about the idea that I'd leave them or cheat on them with someone of the opposite gender.

What a pain in the ass of an insecurity to have to hear all the time. It would have been easier if they just made it about fear of infidelity in general, and not attached it to gender. But, of course, bisexuality was what triggered the insecurity in the first place, so, I guess my identity is threatening. What a great feeling from your loved one.

It didn't last, and it wasn't because of my fidelity or lack of.
