A homonym is one of a group of words that share the same spelling or pronunciation (or both) but have different meanings

I hadnt noticed a thread like this already so thought id make one :D

To start,
Cue - Item used for playing pool or snooker
Queue - a line of people waiting for something.
 
wear - to have on a piece of clothing or other item you put 'on'
where - as in your location or something you are going/gone/been

seen - the past participle of see
scene - public display of passion or temper: tried not to make a scene
 
Hair - found on your body
Hare - another name for a rabbit
Herr - German word for Mr.
Heir - beneficiary usually named in a Last Will & Testament
 
Thrown – to be terrified
Thrown – to be confused
Thrown – What the ball is after you throw it
Throne - a place where the king sits or a euphemism for toilet


(and yes, Moon - that was a bit of a stretch. I think that ship has sailed - you can do better) :eek:
 
Chute ~ inclined trough

Shoot ~ to project forcefully into said inclined trough.
 
hose ~ tube for watering garden weeds

hoes ~ more than one garden weeding tool

hoes ~ 50 cent's women (allegedly)
