I have a huge fantasy about recording my GF and I having sex. We don't have a camcorder yet, or I'm sure we would have done it. A friend got one recently, and is willing to let me borrow it.

Suggestion.. start with one of you masturbating for the other while they hold the cam... get a feel for the camera and angles that work well for that, then go with the stationary camera for both of you.

One possibility is placing the camera such that it gets a reflection off a mirror in the room as well as the two of you directly. Some find that imagery distracting when they watch, others highly erotic...

Best thing we did was use a DV recorder and a Tripod. Using a tripod makes it much more stable, nothing worse than watching a shaking camera. Set up a sceen, start recording. Pause and change angles - Action!

I always write down the sceens so I will have forsight into the camera position. Think of it like a script. It will make your partner feel more part of the procedure in the making of the movie. Plus all of the forplay you can stand for hours.

If its a 1 on 1 shot it is best if the one partner gets into position wanted and then the other sets the camera angle, zoom and lighting.

You may need to be creative so you dont knock over the camera on the tripod.

Best thing using a DV is editing the video on your computer and cutting, edit and change the sceens around to make them flow. If you dont like the chatter in the background you can always put a mp3 track on top. Either completly remove the origional audio or just mix in the moans and other sounds that are naturally made with your partner. Expect to only get about 15min of usable video for 60min of recorded.

Couple of rules i use:
- Always use a tripod
- Never zoom while recording, pause zoom , record.
- use good lighting, If its a tight shot use a small lamp
- Have a script, Not everything has to be linear
- have fun doing it!

What program do you use to edit?

How hard is it to remove the original audio, and then just put back select parts (moans, screams, etc)?

You are welcome... I just know Ive done the setup a stationary camera and record is fine but I want something I want to watch more than one time that we can enjoy together.

We took a whole weekend to make a 90min video once (before kids) but It was more indoor, outdoor, driving etc. It was a lot of work but a lot of fun. Writing the sceen script was very enjoyable to work on together.



Most of the programs you can have multiple tracks. You can turn down one track completly then turn up the other Or mix it. For instance there is a good moan comming up, turn the music channel down just enough for background sound and bring the moan up. Or you can hook up a mike and make your own dialog.

-or - This is a little more difficult.... You can strip out the audio, edit it and save the juicy sounds into mp3,wav etc and then go back into the video editor and add the track to the movie sceen.



I now use Adobe premier elements Its easy and powerful. Go download the free trial otherwise its $99.00

I want to check out Pinnacle studio has chroma-key effects. You can record someone in front of a green screen then place them into a empty sceen. Like the way the weather man does on TV. this is available for demo too.

If you have XP then movie maker that comes with it is actually decent to start out with. Very basic editing. Only problem is that there is no built in DVD creator.

Wow, I was wondering the same questions and found this thread... thanks for the advice! I have a digital camera that records short bursts of video, and I was trying to figure out how to use that to my advantage - sounds like I'd be cutting it all togehter anyway, might help us remember to change angles... or do you think it would be too much hassle, and we should get a camcorder instead?

I had a Olympus 1.3 mp that I could hook up to the serial port and capture photos or video directly to the computers HD. Its been a while and i can not remember if it was part of the software that came with the camera or 3rd party.

Nothing against digital camera video but depending on the capture resolution size you need to at least get 640x480 to look decent full screen otherwise when its blown up the quality will be very grainy. but thats also assuming you are going to put it on DVD.
