Holiday Treats for LDR's... any ideas?

Someone suggested I send along a "kiss" to my LDR (lipstick on napkin) as a special holiday treat. I thought of sending a phone card (or two). Anyone have any other ideas?

How about a pair of panties with your favorite perfume? Or, if you don't want to go for the overt, just a silk scarf with your perfume sprayed on it.

Hand-made cards are always a good idea...picture cards are even better, I think.

Pictures always make a good LDR gift.

Thanks, I feel like such a dippy thing sometimes (its the blonde coming out in me!).

How about sending him a film of erotic photo's (or not so erotic photo's) let him get them developed - surprise!!! Or if you want to do the choosing (can't have any bad shots can we...) make him a small album of photo's of yourself (either erotically suggestive or not) you could also add some small memento's in the album for him (the kiss is a good one).

Well,I can't tell all my ideas, cuz I know Draco will see this, so here's a few that I may or may not have used, and may or may not intend on using in the near future.

Try a voice recording, either on cassette or CD if you can burn them.

Depending on the distance, and how long it would take to get there, make some cookies or some other holiday treats. I don't know about you, but one of the ways to my man's heart is most definatly thru his stomach.

Take a picture of yourself holding something, kissing it, cuddling it, whatever, then send him the picture and the item. (Think soft and cuddly things here, people!)

There's more ideas, but I don't want anything getting back to Draco, so if you want a few more, feel free to PM me. I've been thinking for a long time about thie. Good luck!

With gifts, Phone cards are great ideas, since you can then talk to him. Panties, a scarf (which he can carry with him, unlike panties), or something of significance to you (your favorite stuffed animal is a good one). If it's too long a distance to send cookies, there were some recipes in batter's thread for cookie mix in a jar, which you can assemble, and he can bake. Another thing you can send him is a year round star map for his region of the world (if you're in the same hemisphere) and then get on the phone to him and plan dates to look at a certain set of stars. It helped me feel closer to my LDSO (Long Distance Significant Other) when I knew that we were looking at the same group of stars. Hand made cards, a voice recording, or even a letter that you take around with you for one week, and write in bits and pieces, so he can get an idea of being with you through your daily routine. Evertime you think of him, just write a paragraph or so. Hope these help.

Thank you daughter! Sharing verse seems appropriate! I also like the idea of fave tunes; probably not Xmas tunes, but it's a good suggestion for togetherness (and learning each other's tastes in music as well).

Being the procrastinator as always, I have yet to take advantage of the ideas posted here to "surprise" Oman for Xmas.

Well, I'm the surprised one today! He sent me a box of "goodies" as a surprise birthday gift touching on several things we've discussed together or on this site. Thought I would mention them here in case anyone else needed an idea (or two):

Pictures (my first of him (sigh....), and shots of his neighborhood and sights he passes throughout his travels);

Bag of M&Ms (our special choice of candy);

Phone card (yay!);

CD of "Bonanza: Christmas at the Ponderosa" (I had mentioned this on another thread of favorite Xmas tunes from my past); and

Headset/Boom Mic (WOW!!!!!).
