Who still has their tree/menorah up?

And who still has the outside of their house decorated?

The first step is admitting you have a problem...:p

I still have my Charlie Brown Christmas tree up, and my stockings.:D

Yes I do have a problem. It's called chronic laziness. It runs in the family!

Oh definitely not me. We didn't bother this year. Again. Christmas just isn't very popular in our household.

Hung some Xmas cards from ribbons above the main sofa. Only noticed this afternoon that I'd forgotten to take them down with the rest of the decorations last weekend. Doh!

have to admit that i still have the outside decorations still up.
just a few red ribbons and the fake garland in the railings. with it getting milder out and snow and ice melting, i can get that done this weekend.

LOL

Alright, alright, alright...I'll take the damn tree down! :)

It should count for something that everything else is put away! Well, it should, damnit!

took down the heinous 8 foot blow up snowman yesterday....gotta love inlaws:rolleyes:

but the tree is still up, and the lights are still on.....I'm adding hearts so it is decorated for february....then I think I'll add some of those tacky plastic easter eggs.

you come take it down, I don't wanna.

perky

Only the wreath on the fire place is still up, and that requires 4 people and a ladder to get down. The wreath is about as tall as I am, so it's a project. Decorating the sucker nearly killed me.

Whew...I am glad you asked this today, and not yesterday!

I got it all packed up yesterday and its all resting in my closet.

Actually got it done last weekend before hubby left.

What a fucking mess it was too. The tree was dead before Christmas. I'm still finding pine needles.

nope

actually that's part of the tradition... The tree & stuff go up the day after thanksgiving & comes down on the 6th of Jan ....

my friend's mom, who only speaks russian, told me this great joke about taking out the christmas tree. i've modified it to make it american, but here you go:

a man walks into his laywer's office and says "i want to divorce my wife"

the laywer is shocked. "divorce her? you've been married for 47 years! why divorce her now after all you've been through?"

the man replies "i've finally had enough of her nagging. i can't take it any more. last week was the last straw. it was the fourth of july, i was standing on the balcony watching the parade, my heart was full of pride for my country and joy for all i have, and there she was, nagging me in the background as usual asking me 'when are you going to take out the christmas tree' "

:D
it would be funnier in russian, i promise ;)

I took my tree down on New Year's Eve. The lights are still on the outside of the house, and they may just stay there, they look so pretty. :)

There is also a wreath on the picket fence out front that I keep telling myself I'll take down on garbage day... the one on the front door stays year round, the flowers/greenery get switched out though to match the season.

And my Jack Frost is still on the entertainment center, but he stays through winter.

Hey, i took the elf hats off the pink plastic flamingos.

What more do you want???:p

took the stuff down after the 12th day of christmas

Me, too. The timing just worked out, I didn't really plan it that way.

So my tree is down, but there are 6 huge storage boxes of Christmas stuff in the middle of my living room because I haven't rearranged the closet to put it all back yet. Does that count as still having decorations out?

I am here to come clean.......My tree is still up my stockings still hung, my mantle still decorated......It takes so long to put things up and decorate I hate to see it go..........but this weekend all gone................

Yes I am one of those sick christmas people..........Hell I listened to xmas music yesterday, forced my co-workers to as well lol.............;) :p

*guilty*

Wreath is still on the door, Christmas village is still out but, tree is down ~ needles were getting prety messy!

(I'm going to go take down my wreath after I post this)

Ok Ok ..I fess up too....I am guilty as charged!! That tree is still calling my name....maybe this weekend *sigh* :D
