Is it typical to see more readership/engagement over the holidays? The story I posted in Romance just before Christmas got 50% more reads than I am used to in that category and much more engagement in votes and favorites. I wondered if I could attribute it to the holidays with many people being off work.
The story is not unusual from other things I have written to warrant a stronger reaction, I would say. Given the frequent discussion here of what factors influence engagement, I offer the anecdotal information and welcome comment.
