Hitch-Hikin' outta trouble ... PM interest

Sometimes when you have to get away quickly and put some distance between you and home, then there's only one way to travel ...

OOC:

This isn't intended to be and 'serial fuck fest', but a story about a girl - with troubles - who is leaving home in a hurry ... sure she might be asking for trouble by hitching for lifts, but she thinks she can handle herself and besides she's not going to accept lifts from just anyone ... that said, she may be ... receptive ... to certain advances in certain circumstances, but it has to have an element of realism and of course consent on her part ...

So ... throwing it out there ... she might meet up with exploitative types, or she might get lucky and meet someone with a kind heart ...

This might be a story with just one writer who picks her up and persuades her to stick around either with a view to helping/exploiting her ... OR ... it might be that multiple writers may wish to write shorter interludes where they meet and pick up the girl, interact and then drop her when they part company ...

As is often the case, I'm open to suggestions around the theme, so shoot me a PM and offer me a ride?

1st Ride Cast

Many thanks for the various PMs I have received offering a possible ride to my character ... Many of you sent me interesting and contrasting character ideas and plot twists, which would keep my girl well occupied during her escape from home.

I've explored many possibilities via PM so it seems that this may develop into a multi-stage thread with her travelling from place to place and though there is a wealth of ideas, that could be pursued at some time along the way, I have chosen what I think would be an ideal first ride ...

I'd like to invite gearhead73 to join me and thank you for his wonderful characterisation which I'm sure will get our journey off to an excellent start.

As with the open road, you never know how long things will last or how far on along the way she will be taken ...

If you're interested in offering a ride further down the line, then watch this thread and the In Character thread, or if you're one who previously shared an idea, then perhaps it will be your idea which logically follows on from this one ...
