Hillary Clinton

Yeah, a lot of people seem to think public speaking skills are what make or break a presidency.
No, they're what make or break a candidacy, among other factors.

What makes or breaks a presidency is command of the issues. And considering Bush's lack of it--whatever comes after him is going to look like the third coming of Roosevelt.

Heh. Yeah, the man can talk, I'll give him that.

Hes probably quite the sweet talker. ;) hehe.

But, I like Clinton, regardless of whatever.

Starting and ending with the JFK/Nixon Debates.
That was all about looks and the power of TV. I remember reading an article describing a post debate poll.

The people who listened to the debate on the radio said Nixon won, and the people who watched it on TV said Kennedy.

Fortunately for Kennedy, more people watched then listened.

:)

I agree. Whatever he did in his marriage, or outside of it, is no different than MANY MANY Presidents, and even more married men (and women). It was up to Hill to kick his butt, and I'm sure she did.

He was a great President.

-Democrats want her to run, Republicans want to run against her.

Its not WILL she run for president, but will she WIN??? God save us
I hope neither, 3 years away and our lives will be miserable hearing about Hillary Clinton every single day! She is only a Senator because the country felt sorry for her because of her cheating husband!!! Christ sake people!

lol She is only a Senator because the people of New York prefered her to Congressman Rick Lazio.

And they did THAT because she's a clever, clever woman whose values are in line with their own. A recipe for success, that.

Her values are in line? Then why is she moving to the center ?? She is far too liberal

She's not moving to the center--it's where she's always been. Left of center moderate. And if she's far too liberal, then why is slightly more than half the country PRAYING she'll run and win?

Yes, they are. So it's interesting that I noted "run and win" rather than just run. Curious, how you don't actually read my posts, but comment anyway. How... Republican of you.

She is reinventing herself if you hadnt noticed!! She has big Bill helping her out, I must admit he is a great politican

Sorry... but with that avatar, everything I read of yours comes across with that weird Austrian Accent. ;)

On a serious note, nobody voted for her because they were sorry for her. They voted for her because she's smart, she's passionate and she knows what the hell is going on, and does more than sit around and complain about problems... but comes up with viable solutions!

She isn't reinventing herself. Where do you get that idea?

Oh, right. Sean Hannity.

Indeed she does and indeed he is.

Let's see, from a historical (or hysterical) perspective, assume Hillary runs and wins, then Jeb Bush runs and wins. It would be possible from 1988 to 2024 could be:

1989-1993 President Bush
1993-2001 President Clinton
2001-2009 President Bush
2009-2017 President Clinton (OK, I know it technically Rodham-Clinton.)
2017-2025 President Bush

When are the children old enough?

Bush III will never be ;) But it's a fun flight of fancy.

I hadn't thought of it that way... lol* Hmm. Let's see...the Bush girls are too busy gettin' drunk and doin' drugs... but Chelsea probably only has her Mom's two terms before she's old enough...

No, I don't think so--but after 2 jeb terms, she'd certainly be eligable.
