High blood pressure?

Unlike everyone else, I'm not going to tell you not to worry. You need to have this checked out. Then you can stop worrying.

If you don't already have one, or access of one (and the latter should be universal, IMHO) look into getting one of those automated home meter things, that run on batteries and give you a digital reading. They aren't as accurate as your doctor's measure, I'm sure, but I've been told by my doctor (or was it his nurse) that they are consistent. Mine measured higher at home (in the area of "prehypertension" as they call it now) but was "good" in her estimation at the office. When I quoted the numbers the home meter gave me, she said it was lower, in normal ranges, and that if I brought it to the doctor's office and we measured under the same circumstances, it would give me an idea of what adjustments to make to the readings I get for more accuracy.

You might want to consider that, if you haven't already. It never hurts to have that kind of thing available. If your blood pressure never causes a problem, the most you did was waste a few bucks. If it does cause one, the worst case scenario can be far more dire, needless to say.
