Hidding Places 4 XXX

Hi you guys were all so great with advice on my first "does it count" thread so Im hoping you can offer some good ideas with hiding places for my new adult toys. I still live at home with a very snoopy mother, I know shes read my diary even though Ive tried hiding it in different places. Currently I have my toys(1 vibe and 3 very kinky adult vids) in a metal lock box but I feel like thats the kinda place that will just feed her curiosity more and so Im wondering where you good men and women of literotica keep your adult toys and videos so that your parents, children, wives, husbands etc dont find them or you might just happen to have a good suggestion for me either way thanks in advance for taking the time to read this

First of all I think that honest is the best policy. I dont know how old you are but what you have and how you use the articles is your own business. Go with the worst possible situation if she does find them and work from there. If you are underage that may be one thing that both of you will have to deal with.

You are asking us to give advice without giving us much details. You got to give us something to work with.

Also, just a word of caution. Don't shake any of your gifts to hard in the morning. A buzzing present brings on a lot of questions that could be hard to explain.

I live with my mom, but she's very cool. She won't enter my room at all. I don't know if she respects my privacy or if she just doesn't want to see what a slob I am. This eliminates the need to hide my naughty things (and, to be honest, it takes some of the thrill out of having them). I keep my vibrators in a dresser drawer, and I stash my magazines in the spare room. The funny thing is, she's in the spare room at least once a week, and the magazines are fairly visible. I'm sure she's seen them, but she has never said a word about them to me. I'm certainly not going to rock the boat and say anything to her!

As for your situation, I think the lockbox is a good idea. Or maybe a storage box or gym bag with "innocent" items on top as a disguise for what lies beneath.

I am shocked that any shrink would consider treating someone for masturbating. Most medical and mental health professionals are aware that masturbation is a normal and healthy activity. Was this "shrink" some kind of prude?

Skibum, did you read I was like 9 or 10 and from the line of questioning about why I liked to touch myself, Im pretty sure they thought somebody molested me-and of course now I wonder if something besides me touching myself made them suspicious of that, maybe the bed wetting. I dont know I have no memories of abuse and if it ever happened Id rather not know, its just alot harder learning to be ok with myself after being made to feel ashamed for my "inappropriate behavior"

Kayt, I didn't mean to be insensative, but it is still strange to me that a mental health professional would go along with that. He should be able to recognize curiosity and differentiate between that and evidence of abuse. Unless he/she is one of those he sees abuse everywhere, even if it's not present.

We are living with my mom until our house is done so I have my BOB hidden in my hubbies sock drawer. She isn't likely to go there so it is safe. Hardest part is coming here to Lit. She is used to it with my brothers but I think I would be a surprise. I just try to be discreet. No need to be ashamed just don't flaunt it. Treat her with respect.

Proably the best place to hide anything is in plain site. Depending on the clutter in your room.... or the size of BOB ..... If all else fails keep him with you... which can have a very big upside (pun intended) unless mom wants to do a cavity search your secret is safe with us.....

On the same note since I'm a guy just would like to add that for my money those remote controlled jobbies... bullets or eggs... are the best!!!! (although my wife keeps wearing them out, give me the remote....)

We all have a hidding place, even if it is just to hide the Christmas card. I have two, my brief case, which is always locked, my wife has not asked yet why I take it to bed with me (We sleep in seperate rooms) and I remove the bottom drawer from a chest of drawers, and insert my secret items underneath a removeable panel. If anything happened to me it would never me discovered. x x x
