Hi everyone. I was told this was where a new author should come to discuss writing with other authors and get some tips on writing and make some friends while I'm at it. I have two stories posted so far and hope I can write well enough to post some more. I have no idea how the system works and how to do things, but I'm hoping all you experienced ones can take a newby like me under your wing and show me around the place. From what I've seen so far, it looks pretty interesting and need to know the ground rules on the how to's. Looking forward to meeting you all. Prem

Welcome! A good place to start is the AH Library thread which is a sticky thread at the top of this forum. It has lots of useful information and links to informative posts in it. You also might want to check out the FAQ.

Otherwise, if you have a question, feel free to ask!

You have to turn on advanced editing features. Go to your User Control Panel, click on "Edit Options," and scroll all the way to the bottom of the page. At the message editor interface, change the default option.

Seriously though, welcome to the AH Prem. Hope you have fun here. Only advice I could give is to jump right in. Water's cold at first but it warms up fast. Don't see a thread that interest you then make one.
