Just wanted to say hello and ask if anyone else is bored out of their mind tonight? I am! It's been close to 20 years since I've posted on a bulletin board.:D

Welcome! I'm new here too, I never relay posted on Bulletin board before this LOL so it takes a bit getting used to. Anyway Hope you have fun.

Welcome! I have read the stories on here but never signed up to post. Hope you're having a good evening.

Prepare yourselves for some -potential- tongue in cheek responses,
nothing personal, just a kinda hazing newbees are put through.
Otherwise, it's a really interesting & fun board.
Enjoy!

I'm a total smart ass so I can take it as well as I dish it out. If you think saying hello is fun, you should see the documentary I'm watching! LIVING LARGE on a Saturday night!:cattail:

I had to do the math to figure out if there were Bulletin Boards back twenty years ago.

Man this place will make you suspicious and paranoid!

(I wonder who's Alt he is?)

I'm not! My boyfriend and I went to see The Martian, which was amazing, and now that we're home, we're going to binge on a bit of Friends. We might bang, or we might not. Also I have some Rice Krispies treats.

I'm bored ishell. Was drinking a little, but I'm not drunk. Maybe my tolerance got too high,or maybe I get too high. Idk. But yeah, I'm bored ishell.

Hehe... there sure were. That's about the time I discovered the world wide web. :)

Dude, was it really good?? cause I was thinking of dragging my GF to it tomorrow.

I saw The Martian yesterday too. I don't think I would see it again or buy the movie but it was alright. Science geeks will probably like it more, he does the science and shit. And I mean shit quite literally.

No naked pics, sorry. Too early for that!

I'm new to membership here, though I've been reading here for a few years.
Thank you,

Welcome to Lit, thank you for:

1. Not creating a post with the word 'ladies' in it.
2. Using proper grammar and spelling.
3. Not seeming like a complete douche right out of the gate.

You probably won't stick around because we are a scary, bitchy bunch but it was pleasant while it lasted.

Well, I loved it. My boyfriend loved it. I don't love new movies all that often anymore, and before our first date in July of 2013, he hadn't been to a movie theater since The Matrix. I thought it was a good mix of science and actiony stuff, and I liked that everything didn't go either all wrong or all right; that kept things believable. There were also some nice comedic moments and just the right touch of heartwarmth. There was one character who was a bit too obviously tropey for my taste, but other than that small thing, it was an all-around win, IMO.

Matt Damon in a smart, sciency role is arousing AF.

Pay no attention, Mr V, to this false modesty. Wings, and everyone else here, is utterly delightful, and made me feel enormously welcome from the very beginning. Fizz over on the occasional table, and the flamingos have canapes strapped to their nethers if you are feeling peckish. Your calling card should be ready from the printers in a day or two.

Jesus H. Christ! Speak English.

'"I don't understand a word you say. You're English, aren't you?"

I admitted it. She didn't say a word. And somehow she did it in a way
that made it worse than if she had spoken for hours. Somehow it was
brought home to me that she didn't like Englishmen, and that if she had
had to meet an Englishman, I was the one she'd have chosen last.

Conversation languished again after that.'
