I thought I told everyone that the in-laws were in town. They stay in our guest room, which is also my computer room. So I don't get much of a chance to get on line.

They left yesterday, Wednesday, so I is FREE now. But I'll be damned if there isn't a bunch of nothing new on Lit. 'Our' threads are doing okay. Bunch of new names. Same ol' people saying the same ol' shit.

Maybe I needed more than a week off?

But I am back, and I'll see what I can do about bringing a smile or two with me.

It is nice to be missed.

For what it is worth I am back. They are gone and things have returned to normal.

I see a lot of new names here, and a lot of threads I don't want to open... is that because I was gone for a week? Has the addiction been broken? Or are things here just boring, and a bit juvenile right now?

I don't know. I know 'our' threads seem to be doing just fine.

Know the feeling: when the latest "crop" of virgins (in a lit sense !) are turning up to make one or two daumb posts, the feeling of deja-vu can be enough to make the best of us quit !

.....but we ALL seem to come back in the end.
