And boxes and plastic bags are extremely important to the cats of today. Why is this? When I chase my kitties, they run to these boxes and bags, then hunker down in/on them as if they're "home free" in a game of tag. But, as my friend has suggested, this can't have any basis in nature. Cats in the wild can't sit on a square and be left alone by admiring jackals. Why do they do this?
 
Didn't know other cats did that too. So maybe mine aren't that psycho after all? They're still neurotic, though.

Cats by nature like semi-dark enclosed places...they feel more secure in them....as to plastic bags...I would guess they are playing...or they like the feel{texture} of them.

here is a drawing I did of them. Wolfie (on the right) is a Maine Coon Cat and Honey Brown is .. well .. she's just a cat. runt of the litter, but Queen of the House!
