sodium pentothal, pancuronium bromide and potassium chloride

Personally, I think he should have been executed a long time ago. That whole big deal about the misplaced files was bullshit. As if it made one bit of difference to his guilt. And since he had given up on appeals, it was a waste of time and moiney, IMHO.

Don't look at it as "rejoicing in the death of someone". It is justic finally being served.

But Timmy is a reformed man, he should be released on his own recognizance, He could be a fine upstanding member of society. a pillar of truth and justice and the american democratic way.

In fact he should be released and run for president, I think Hildebeast and Timmy would be good running mates, very complimentary natures to each other.

Timmy and Hildebeast for 2004 Democrat ticket.

Lets start our campiang to free the innocent Timmy So he can rise to the ranks he deserves.

Actually, Todd, McVeigh is a hardcore right-wing conservative. He's closer to you, politically, than to me.

He may be Right but Hildebeast needs all the help she can get in order to become prez in 2004 and taking Timmy under her wing would be her/thier ticket to the top. no wear to go but up.

Todd, Todd, Todd...did you smoke your breakfast again?

Don't you just see Timmy and Hildebeast as the Dynamic Duo, they would be unstopable and once in repubs could never get them out until they died of old age.

Nope no smoking breakfeast.

But I did eat at least 16 Portobella and Swiss Beef Burgers and 8 Mederterarian Chicken breaks and a couple of Gallons of Wild Blueblerry Cocktail at work today.

I see...all that cholesterol is clogging the arteries that supply blood to your brain. Remember the four food groups! If you're not careful, I may email you a copy of the RDA food pyramid...

RDA??? Registered Democrat Assembly?

I only eat that way at the demo's The more samples we go through the more we are paid, hence the more I eat the more money I make.

Cholesterol won't Block the blood to my brain, I don't have a brain. Come to think of it having no brain, that should make me a good Democrat ;)

Grits and hog jows.

Hey, I like grits. We can feed him chitterlings to go with the jowls. Oh, ham hocks too. Bet he's never had anything like that before!

McVeigh is gonna have a BIG Tall Glass of Shut the Hell Up, with a side of sodium pentathol and whatever else it is they put in the Potion of Justice he is gonna get.

I am as violent as the next man...

...but I just can't see how killing McVeigh would give me any satisfaction at all if I or my family/friends were involved in the Oklahoma bombing.

To me a lifetime of torment in agony would be a far more appropriate punishment.

Amputation of various body parts without anaesthetic, periodic severe beatings, days/weeks of startvation...anything I could think of that would keep him alive but in incredible suffering. Then I would feel that some retribution had been made.

Killing him seems just too quick for me...

You know to an extent I agree with you p p man, but I do not want to pay for that bastard to live any longer than is necessary.

I think chinese torture would be a good idea too......oh the other ways to make them die slowly and agonizingly.

I agree with Chuckus. I have a sadist mind, and I know I could think of some good torture for a person...BUT...why should we pay to keep him alive and in prison?

Exactly what p_p_man said!

And what FORM of justice is being served. Granted it's an eye for an eye. But is that truly what is just in our society today? Must we revert to that time when retribution reigned supreme?

Well I will just put it simply, Can't do the time~~then don't do the crime. Maybe it is a little antiquated but I think in general that most people do not commit crime because they don't want to do the time or pay the consequences. What did McVeigh think was going to happen to him when (not IF but when) he was caught?

Maybe the punishment seems severe to some people, but if a member of your family were killed by him, do you think perhaps you would feel differently? I know for a fact, if someone were to kill or mame my mother or father~willingly and ruthlessly, that somehow and in some way they would get theirs.

Personally, I am sick and tired of paying for all these KILLERS and RAPISTS and CHILD molesters to ROT in JAIL. Why should I work hard for them to have better surroundings than alot of the working people in this land?

Chuckus and Tiggs...

...you're not thinking evil enough.

I don't see him living in a nice warm cell. A pig stye with the other pigs maybe. He could even eat their food.

I don't think it would cost a fortune and if you think about it you could keep some of his limbs intact so he could do some work...

I could get more vicious if I thought about it...but you can see what I mean. Suspend your normal decent sensibilities and just think of agonising, tormenting punishment, day after day until he expires some time in the future..

And if you are still thinking in a civilised manner...

Think of the kids he killed and maimed...

Interesting...

How is that possible? What do you need all the money for? How mch does it cost to execute a person?

p p man, I don't even think that would fit the bill, in my mind for people like him and some named in my post above.

I really am not into visualizing in words what the punishment should be, but in no way do I think that WE the tax payers should pay for life long criminals or people who have commited very very haneous crimes to sit in a prison and have 3 meals a day, cable tv, shoes and clothes, showers and books to read, weights they can lift. ALL the while people in our own country who work have worse conditions to live in than someone in prison. Seems to me some career criminals have a better life than some of us on the outside.

Criminals in prison, don't have to pay for anything at all. They are just there. That is wrong and maybe that is why I have such a jaded view. The punishment, IMHO, does not fit the crime in most cases.

Did you realize that it costs MORE to execute a person in the United States than it would to leave them in jail for their entire lives? So this economic efficiency argument about our tax dollars is simply flawed.

In a way your right, LAV. Due to the fact that these criminals are allowed endless appeals, etc......I say three trials (the original trial and two appeals MAX) then FIRING SQUAD. End of story.
