Hey, it me!

Honestly, when I write a story for Lit, it starts off as an idea for unusual sex. Unusual for me at least. The story is just a way to get to the sex scene. Sometimes the story gets out of hand. Sometimes my characters need a lot of backstory and motivation to get in the mood. Sometimes the story even grows beyond the sex scene into something more. But if I'm putting the story on Lit, it's because the idea started out as a sex story.

I just write stories about people. And people often think about, talk about, joke about sex. And, sometimes they even do it. Sometimes they slip Tab A into Slot B - and a few other places as well.
So I write about that too. I don't really set out to write a story about sex. But, that said, about two-thirds of my stories have a little red H next to them. :)

Have you considered changing where your chapter ends? Would flashback sex work? A masturbation scene?

I suspect no sex might be a problem for your Magnus-crazed, panty-tossing readership! You never know, though. I got a request today for a no-sex chapter (I think that was the intent) so my male lead can heap TLC on my female lead during her period. I did not know what to say to that. I'm going to guess that reader wasn't a Magnus groupie, though.

Holy shit, holy shit you've given me an amazing idea.

Hey there

It's been awhile since I graced these pages. I worked more on my story than the story, but it worked out well. I always received good feedback.

Sometimes I feel adding in too much sex detracts from a story. I'm for all about describing things in the backstory like:

That night we did the deed. It was nice enough, just like Darren.

In another story I wrote:

Our first time, on the rug in front of the stove, was nothing really to report. Stuart felt horrible that he could not hold on for long and I was shocked at the initial pain and the speed at which it was over to come anywhere near orgasm. We did shower together though, soaping each other up and exploring each other's bodies without bathers on. It was in the shower where Stuart first brought me to orgasm with his fingers. This was followed by his tongue as we lay in bed together.

By the end of the week we were both sore but had worked out a lot of what worked for each other and had some amazing lovemaking experiences.

In both instances I could have used a few hundred more words and described how Darren was kind and we both fumbled etc or how Stuart fumbled then described the rest of their sexual exploits over the following week, but to me it wasn't necessary.

I guess I just write about relationships with most sex implied. Where I have set out to describe actual sex, my points tend to be low. At a glance I think about a third or more of my stories have a red H, with a couple of Ws too. I think if a story is strong enough and entertaining enough, most readers will enjoy. There will always be those that verbally slaughter anything with a paragraph they can’t wank too, but those zombies they tend to congregate at the same certain genre corners.
