i have recently hooked up with a girl at work. for 2 months now we have been going out and doing normal stuff. dates, hanging out, sex etc. i have fun with her and genuinely like her. my problem is this. physically im not very atracted to her. her actions, attitude, and perosnality turn me on and make me want to be with her but as far as just looking at her i dont feel atracted. she isnt ugly or unkept i just dont feel that visual attraction to her that i have with past girl friends.


if anyone has advice on this let me know. i appriciate it very much. its good to be back.

I might not be the best person to give advice since it's usually actions, attitude, and personality that get and keep me interested. There have been times I can't explain why I'm physically attracted to someone...they were simply not my type, but there was some sort of magnetism that drew me to them. But I agree that there has to be something.

It seems you have two choices, Mike: Stay with her, or break up. I'd say the fact that you're questioning your attraction after a couple of months doesn't bode well for a future with her. I think it's possible for attraction to grow over time, but again, there has to be a little something there in the first place to build on. Do you know what specifically is different or unattractive about her? What was it that visually attracted you to your exes? What IS attractive about this woman's physical appearance?
