Hey everyone--Group Feedback Needed

Lance GT over in AH Thread wants us to come-up with new lexicon to describe a nympho of either sex. I think this is a fabulous idea, since while 'masochist' and sadist clearly indicate what they mean, we don't have a direct term like 'sexist' since that went in the dictionary as something else. I suggested "Sexuelle" for a female sensualist/nympho and "Copulist" for a nympho of either sex--I feel like both those are alliterative enough to get the meaning without slapping a glossary in the footnotes. Everybody--will you chime-in here? Anybody else have any original words to suggest--either here or over on his thread? I think starting a forum-authored real lexicon is a great project idea for all--and a Literotica version of Balderdash for the intellectuals might be fun in the future.

Not sure. 'Sexuelle' is already a word in French, while 'copulist' gets just a few Google hits.
Being male, the first term has little direct applicability, while 'copulist' seems somewhat debased, much like 'copulation' seems more clinical than 'coupling'. Wikipedia redirects 'nympho' to 'hypersexual'. I like 'ultrasexual' a bit more, but the prefix detracts from either. I may play with the idea as time goes by and come up with a term I prefer.
As a somewhat orthogonal classification I have the concept of 'love subject' as contrasted with 'sex object', playing off the grammatical connotations. I'm wired to strongly favor 'love subject' over 'sex object' in both motivations and actions.

Lol--I really love study origins (including language) and other cultures. In High school I dated an East German and a Japanese exchange student, and befriended many others, including Swahili twin girls. Right now I have a guy here trying to teach me Scottish Gaelic.

So what else are you up to, other than hopping into my obscure pursuits and micro-obsessions?

Well in Japanese the sensua- word genders would be reversed. O is fem and A is masc.

I love languages. Know some French, German. Japanese, and Russian. And Spanish as I grew up in a Spanish neighborhood. But my favorite word for hello is Swahili. Jambo! How can you say that without smiling?

I like it. But now, just as Ariel can't read my poem without thinking 'club of midgets', I can't look at that without thinking kinkajou. To make it worse, it is also called a honey bear. The juxtaposition of this cute furry thing with the cute furry thing I WANT to think of is disturbing, lol.but I can't blame you for my perverse mental landscape.

Geman is good for portmanteau words, but uberluster and using the right article doesn't cut it for me.

I am struck. (But not surprised) that there isn't a one word derogatory for a man with this condition, but many for women. A ridiculous double standard. Nympho and satyr are fairly beniign, though again the connotation is still harsher for the woman. In society's eyes.

Like your kinkajou thing. I have a policy of taking any challenge (artist-warrior that I am), and that Scot-Gaelic got me stumped, in the middle of a naughty poem to him . The term 'hochmagandie' is the accepted translation of a sexual trysting in that language. I am stuck because everytime I see it, I think 'Mahatma Ghandi'--lol--I can't think dirty thoughts when I can't stop picturing Ghandi standing there watching us go at it. I am so screwed, and not even in the good way, lol.
