Tell us how you are doing please.

I am mending slowly but surely. I am not in a lot of pain, thanks to pharmaceuticals, but i am uncomfortable. I would kill for just one potato chip, but it will probably be another couple weeks before I can eat solid food.
I got out of the hospital Wednesday, and I'm staying at my Mom's. I felt very buoyed the first day I was home, but then that pissed off, whiny, "why did this happen to me" phase kicked in, and the last couple of days have been rough for me emotionally.
But Mom is taking good care of me, and everyone, both here at home, and at Lit have been wonderful at helping me keep my spirits up.
Thank you for asking, Siren, I really appreciate it.

I got a PM from Caroline last night. She is taking a few days to rest up from her ordeal. SHe asked me to let anyone know who asks about her.

Thank you sweetie. My sister went to my apt. and got my kitties and brought them over, that cheered me up a lot. Mom's lhasa apso is not quite so happy about it though

Are you undergoing any Physical Therapy?

Thank you, Siren. One of the first things I did when I got back online was take that title, just so I would have that reminder there that I can get through this.
I have a home nurse who comes every other day and is helping me work my legs and hips until i can try walking again. He says I can try to walk a bit next week. Everything else just has to heal up for now.

Tomorrow, the whole family is coming over to watch the Red Wings game and have a little party. I don't care how corny it sounds, a loving family IS the best medicine.

How is Sam doing? This has to be kinda hard on him to. Give him a hug from me and thank him for taking such good care of you and keeping us updated!

Sam has been fantastic. He has been at my side all through this. Saturday he and my sister and my niece went in and helped my partner put out all the banquets for the day. We would have lost thousands of dollars if they hadn't.
I had to tell him to stay home and rest tonight. He needs to take care of himself, not spend all his energy on me.
