There are probably many things the active ingredients in pot work on. But if we all go overboard on prescribing it for a variety of things without proper testing, it just gives ammo to the anti-pot crowd. Walking into some Cali pot shop, getting diagnosed with anxiety disorder in 15 minutes flat is not a good thing.

Smoking anything is unhealthy. No kids should be putting smoke in their lungs.

It needs to be converted to pill form and proper blind tests conducted. Just like any pharma corp drug coming on the market.

Recreationally it should be retailed like booze. In Ontario that means government run outlets. LCBO (Liquor Control Board of Ontario) stores and the Beerstore. We can't just walk into a convenience store and get a bottle and a six pack. You shouldn't be able to with pot either.

Eating it works better than smoking but tastes like crap.

When I startied working in the states I found it so wrong that they tested you for everything before you started. The most upsetting was when you were going for a minimum wage job (then 5.25).

The bit that really killed me was that you could be too rich for social security, and you had to be drug tested for a job you couldnt live on.

They do need to develop a roadside tester for DUI. That will get law enforcement to support or at least not actively fight against pot. Many of them realize the waste in resources going after potheads.

It is a dilemma for pot users in areas where it is illegal. Up here Vietnamese gangs run the grow ops (at least 50% of those busted have Vietnamese names) and the bikers control distribution.

If you smoke it in certain areas you are supporting organized crime.

Anti-pot laws are unjust though. And it is the duty of every citizen to fight unjust laws.

Colorado pot money is not going to mexico and actually being taxed. Less pressure on the legal and correction systems. I voted for legalization and would do so again.
