Here's a responsible gun owner.

Thank you all for taking such an interest. I'd put up some links, but it's obvious that none of you would read them.

Sort of what I figured. I got no patience for this stuff. You want people to see your side of things you have to explain yourself so they know what you're talking about. Being incredibly vague and then refusing to elaborate just makes you an asshole and I already got one of those.

I have a friend who needs money and is selling a 1911. I've never owned one so I might buy it from him. They're fun to shoot.
I also got a .380 that I have zero use for if anyone wants one. I promise it was never used for a mur...robbery. Yes, a robbery. Let's go with that.

No answer? Thought so.
I don't know who you are or who you used to be, but you're thicker than most of the other gun nuts on this board.

Here is a quote from the link for you:
AMA Calls Gun Violence “A Public Health Crisis”
For immediate release:
Jun 14, 2016

CHICAGO – In the wake of the worst mass shooting in American history and with more than 6,000 deaths already in 2016 from gun violence, the American Medical Association (AMA) today adopted policy calling gun violence in the United States "a public health crisis" requiring a comprehensive public health response and solution. Additionally, at the Annual Meeting of its House of Delegates, the AMA resolved to actively lobby Congress to overturn legislation that for 20 years has prohibited the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) from researching gun violence.

10,000 Americans killed by guns every year. That's not a crisis? Kills more Yanks than Daesh does. Terrorism seems such a huge deal to you folk. Yet doesn't even come close to the carnage and death caused by out of control gun ownership and use.

Ten thousand a year! Nothing to see here... move along.

That's pretty much nothing.

McDondalds is a bigger public threat than guns.

Then ban both. Maybe it will go to increasing the US population without having to resort to immigration. 10k saved from guns, 10k saved from poor diet. That's 20k immigrants you don't have to let in your country.

Not a fascist like you....sorry.

No you just collaborate with Nazis. And are quite prepared to turn your back on every dead child killed by a gun just to protect your selfish 'right'.

You call it free speech and the 2nd Amendment. I call it being a Quisling and using a gun as a penis extension.

OH SHIT we've gone directly to fantasy land LOL

How does me giving up my civil rights do anything for dead kids?

LOL you're a fuckin' nut. :D

Anyone still denying that America has a gun abuse crisis? They seem to have fucked off.

Yea, it's not a crisis.

It's a political emotional appeal.

There are like 800 other bigger, life threatening, destructive, problems to deal with before guns become a crisis.

Like grizzly bears in schools?

Wrong! Guns are so much easier to deal with. Ban them, grandfather a few and in a couple of generations no more guns. Lot easier to get rid of guns than obesity, cancer and poverty.

10,000 every year! How many dead children is your right to own a gun worth? How many, 1000, 100, 10?

Like grizzly bears in schools?

Exactly.

There are plenty of issues much easier to deal with but they dont' carry the emotional woo woo woo that gets the low information morons all worked up.

I know you're a fascist but we just ban things we don't like.

I'm pro-natural selection, your emotional appeal is irrelevant.

So a dead toddler from an unsecured gun is just natural selection to you? You want to breed Americans that can instinctively operate a gun right out of the womb.

You don't give a shit about anybody but yourself do you? Dead American children are just the price of freedom!
