I normally would never lower myself to address a troll, since it is so beneath my proper station in life, but for you I have decided to make a special exception.
It's just that I find ignorance of the truth to be such an irritating thing to have to observe, especially when it is so persistent, and I was hoping to separate you from a little piece of yours.
I don't know if you are one or several, or if you masquerade as a registered member, as you like to claim, but it really doesn't matter. This is addressed to any who behave as you do.
I have seen you attack a number of people who post here in what I expect is the most hurtful way you can imagine. You have used the most personal information about them to try to ridicule them and undermine their sense of self worth, or if you don't have that you fling insults hoping to find a target. This provokes outrage from decent members of the board, which I'm sure is your intent. Only there are some people here that are a bit wiser and more experienced in dealing with human beings, and I thought you should know. You see, when you have tried to throw someone's problems back in their face in order to mock them you only waved a banner that reminded us of how courageous they were. That you used information they freely shared reminded us of how honest they were. When you tried to be cruel you reminded us of how tender and caring they were. You only remind the rest of us of all the reasons why their presence at Literotica is welcome, why they have an identity here, and why people care about them.
Because this is a loose community, of sorts. People sit around the big fire, and swap stories, and make each other laugh, and come and go, and argue, and complain, and share part of themselves, and make contact.
But not you.
You sit in the cold woods at the edge of the firelight, and bark and howl, too afraid to come close enough for people to see you.
We know that you think you are hiding safely out of arms reach, that we can't touch you, and that you don't have the courage to say these things to people in the real world. And that brings me to that little piece of ignorance I was originally referring to.
You seem to think that your real life name, your real life address, maybe even your registered member nic, if you have one, is who you are, and your little troll identity is anonymous. I would like you to reflect on the fact that your RL identity is really the façade, the lie, and the thing you reveal yourself to be when you come here is who you truly are, naked, for everyone to see. People have suggested to you that you take a good look at yourself in the mirror. I would add to that and suggest to you that you have never seen yourself as clearly as many here have seen you.
When people demand that you reveal yourself and take credit for what you say, perhaps you think they wish to hold you accountable and exact retribution. Perhaps you are right, but that's the way we do things around the big communal fire. But I do know this. It's the first step to regaining your humanity.
