Here Comes Devil Girl!

One more sexy druna, then it's to bed with me. I have a longer Crumb story about a wimpy cave guy, but I'm not sure if it's worth posting. It clears up some historical mysteries, however, so it may be worth it. I'll think about it overnight... May your dreams be filled with big butts, everybody. ;)

What's the deal? After the first Crumb comic, most of the posts are blank. Does Literotica take out the graphics to save bandwidth? Is my browser (Firefox) screwing up? Anybody know?

Not sure, Purple Sage. I can see all the graphics, but I am the poster, which kind of skews things. Try refreshing the page and waiting for it to fully load? Do you see Red X or just no graphics at all? I post from an image-hosting site. If there servers went down the graphics would temporarily disappear.

A Mr. Snoid Grabbie, ack!

Ah, the "Headless Devil Girl" episode. I'd seen this one before; but never the lead-in-the first one you posted. Sublime.

I was never much for the visual arts; but every line Crumb draws is somehow deeply pleasing.

In Key West this summer, I came across a new book of his latest sketches. He seems to have mellowed out. There were many drawings of women that seemed full of good feeling-as if he were beautifying rather than uglifying. I remember one in particular; a face of a somewhat Brazilian-looking girl with a beatific smile holding a globe of the earth in her hands; a Nature Goddess. Almost as if Crumb were letting you see the flipside of his hatred for women--the fact that he hates them because he idolizes them. His drawings of his wife are very loving as well. HIs draughtsmanship is astounding. He has that ability to exaggerate slight details in order to make a face horrific or beautiful.
