Ummm... I was a Boy Scout, but that knowledge has long gone. I prefer two separate handcuffs that separate the hands, crucfixion-style. Of course, they can be afixed in the center of the bed, for a traditional 1-cuff setup, so there's flexibility.

Tried it, took all of your input into consideration. Made it fun, put a ton of emphasis on "feeling" as to "seeing." I think it was great for him in a sense that he couldn't touch me even though he really really wanted to, all he could do was feel, hear, and experience. I gave him a blindfold, just to make things interesting. Must say, my creativity is blossoming.
