Authors, Laurel... I feel like such a schmuck. I don't know if the setting for Las Vegas chosen for the Maltese Fuckin was taken from my suggestion or not, but now I'm finding difficulty even living up to my commitment. 1) I have struggled with what is expected having two other authors on the same same date requires. 2) After volunteering, I have since found myself in Family Court fighting to keep custody of my boys and doing it all on my own without an attorney. In other words, I'm just overwhelmed. I apologize, but are there any volunteers who would take my spot for 3/6. I apologize for the short notice, hope everyone understands. HOT MALE

Hey HotMale, sorry to hear about your problems. I have a friend who is in a custody battle and what a nightmare. He's a total wreck. And these fucking lawyers and fucking judges do nothing but aggravate the situation. This Family Court shit is the worst example of INJUSTICE and a system run amuck I have ever seen. Incredible violations of constitutional rights.
You may be crying HELP!!!!! quite prematurely because your story definitely is not due 3/6 because there are FOUR people who have to write chapters before you do. I would guess you have at least another couple weeks.
But if you definitely do not want to do your chapter I'm sure someone else will volunteer.

Thanks for letting us know what's up, HotMale... Yeah, someone can volunteer, or the next person in line can just build off the previous chapter - like we're skipping a chapter, but not really... Either way is fine... Just let me know so I know what to expect.
Also, it seems that some of you writers are lagging on this Maltese thingamabob. I feel partially to blame, since I had to take off in the middle of the durn thing... And I'm not a total deadline fascist or anything, but you guys are messing up the authors behnd you, and they're getting restless, so you (you know who you are) who are late please either send a chapter or a note saying you can't do the chapter... I won't beat you, I promise! THis is a fun thing, and if your schedules are overloaded I understand, but you need to let me or the other authors know so they can work around you... capiche?
