help with the timestamp?

hi- im sorta confused about how the tyime works on here- it's general mountain time? im is wisconsin, with central time, so why is the time on here 6 hours ahead of me?

Have a look in your contol panel under profile options.....somwhere there in the control panel area. I know I changed mine to this end of the world. but it's still an hour slow

At the top center of each BB page is a button labeled "User CP" -- click that link.

At the top of the page it takes youto, is a link to "Edit Options"

About halfway down the edit options page, you find a statement like this: "Time offset:
All times are GMT -8 hours. The time now is 01:13 PM. Please select your time zone from the list:
"

There is a pull down menu right below that where you can select the time offset from GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) If you are on CST, then you're offset is GMT - 6, although the list also names (US) Central Standard Time in additon to the offset.
