Help with AIM

Can anyone that knows more about computers than me ... and lets face it that's not hard. Can anyone tell me how to delete a name off AIM that is no longer used??

Please explain in terms that I will understand as I truly don't know alot about computers.

I said to a friend yesterday ... You push the button and hope for the best, hope to God that it doesn't blow up.

Well babe once you register a screen name it's there for good. Just uninstalll then reinstall AIM and use only your new screen name. I hope that works. And if you wanna IM me sometime it's jdh72680. Talk soon!

Before you his the little sign on button on aim highlight the name you want to delete and then hit the delete button on your home row (right above the arrows and to the left of the numbers) and it will pop up and ask you if you want to delete this user from the computer, say yes and it is done
if you dont logon with that name for 90 days it AOL will delete is completley
