I have some talent writing and have started a story or two of my own but have come to a block. I am looking for someone to edit and/or help by being a muse... Please reply to my profile if you are interested. Also would like to see seasoned writers respond so I could get the most of their experence. thx

Why not just drop a line or two, a scenario, whatever, and let our fantasies go loose? Don't post the whole story (no-one going to read it here), just some teasers to get going. And you can take those ideas and run with them of course.

Basic idea is girls family dies in house fire. Guys parents are the god parents of girl. They hate each other being in different clicks in school but eventually end up together. Mabey a played out story line i know but i seem to be having trouble getting from the hate to the liking part

How about:

• He sees her naked in the shower or wherever
• He defends her from a bully
• One helps the other with homework
• They both find they like the same movie
• They both have a fear of the same thing (eg. spiders)
• They discover a secret about his parents, discuss it
• He breaks up with his girlfriend, she comforts him

Going from hating to liking. Two characters, A and B.

We have:

A is misinformed of B and becomes so
A has its priorities/values change so that B is attractive
B's character changes so that it is attractive to A

To wit: girl's house burned down because her parents were lower class ne'er do wells, and she hates the boy because she thinks him a stuck up pansy. Boy hates girl because he thinks she has an irresolute character and focused on self interest rather than moral ideals.

Now mix and match.
