ok me and a freind are having an arguement she says for a girl to lose her virginity it has to be with another guy but is it true or can girls lose their virginity to another girl?? and if yes can you explain so i can show her and shut her up lol

You're both right, and you're both wrong -- it all depends on how you define "virginity" and "Sexual Intercourse."

IF you equate "virginity" to an intact hymen, then you are correct -- a girl can lose her "virginity" or hymen to a man, woman, herself, a horseback ride, or a bicycle seat.

IF you define "virginity as "a lack of sexual penetration," Then it takes a partner with something to pentrate the vagina -- A girlfriend with a vibrator or a boyfriend (with a dildo or a penis.)

However, most people consider a woman to be "virgin" until she's had "heterosexual sexual intercourse" and that generally means plain old vanilla fucking.

Of course, if you consider "virginity" as inexperience in each particular sexual act, a woman could have up to a dozen deflorations in her lifetime -- first blowjob, first cunnilingus (given and received), first 69 with a guy, first 69 with a girl, first fuck, first anal, first dildo, etc, etc ad nauseum.

First you and your GF need to agree on a definition of "virginity" and then your argument will solve itself.

Any sexual act where they hymen is broke or for the guy, when he has his first time with a girl or guy with penetration.

Yep... For one to lose their virginity, there has to be penetration of some sort... Typically, guy on girl...
