hello all....

a question about signiture lines here on lit?

i recently added one of my own. i noticed that mine indexed in on my old posts as well as the ones created after....

i added a sig. line for a another poster here and their sig line is only showing up in posts made after i added it. NO sig line anywhere on the site in their previous posts...

our control panels are set identical as far as i can tell.....

why the difference? anyone have any clues to point me at what i have missed? i'm not altogether a computer newbie, but this is puzzling me.....thanx.....

It's nothing to worry about. The site just screws up once in awhile. It did that to me as well. None of the post i made before my sigline show it. Just accept it and go on cause there's nothing you can really do about it. And two weeks down the road they may all start to show it. It just happens.

thank you kikmosa for your reply. i thought it might have something to do with site indexing also. i had hoped it would be something i could correct but.....

i guess it is not possible.

:(

perhaps, as you said, it will pop in eventually....

Just above the submit button, there is a check box labeled "Show Signature: include your profile signature. Only registered users may have signatures. "

That sets a flag in each individual message indicating whether to show a signature or not for THAT message.

Many newbies without signature lines clear that checkbox thinking it will show some default signature will cause problems because they dont' have a signature to include.

If that checkbox is cleared, a signature will NOT show on that particular message until it is edited to include the signature.

Conversely, if it is checked, any changes made in the signature will be displayed when that message is displayed.

It's possible that your friend's signature doesn't show on old messages because the page wasn't refreshed (loaded fromt he Temporary internet files instead of regenerated) and the signature will show up when it is refreshed.

Anyway, back to the subject at hand, new research has shown that the prostate is actually the male G-spot, which makes the G-spot a female prostate. The G-spot is now being renamed to just that. Or so I heard. This is probably why guys get such a high using this "milking" method. Just like when you make a woman squirt by massaging her G-spot.

P.S.- Have you ever seen that scene in the movie "Road Trip?" Those of you who have know what I'm talking about.
