alright look, i feel really stupid because I'm 18...

but i go down on my girlfriend to eat her out and i know it pleases her somewhat but i know it can be so much more...i'm kind of ashamed of this but it's because-i don't know what the clit looks like or where it's at....Don't make fun of me please. I just want to be able to please my girl to the fullest extent and I figured you people would be able to help me out. Any suggestions?

The clit is the little (looks like a nub) that is above her vagina. Between that and her vagina is her urethra. Around the clit is a hood.

Generally it's not a good idea to directly touch the clit. This can cause discomfort and actually pain since it is a very sensitive part of her anatomy. And speaking of anatomy, you didn't learn this in biology?

For starters, try tonguing around the hood. For some women, the tip of the tongue feels too hard to touch the area. If that's the case, try using the flat of your tongue.

Watch her body and listen to what sounds she makes. She may pull away if it's too intense, or push towards you if she wants more.

It is not all about the clit. I find that I have to allready be turned on pretty well before the clit starts to join in. One thing to try is to finger her (inside) gently...all most massaging the inside and the lips around the opening and then suck gently on that clit at the same time.
There is a great book...the guide to getting it on...yes that is the title...there is a chapter int here specifically about vaginal and clitoral exploration...if you can get this book...you may find it helps ...it is well written and has plenty of humor as well.

While you are going down on her pay attention to her squirms...and to her breathing and moans....that will give you an indication on what she likes.....also at some point get some baby oil and rub some on her and then use your fingers lightly to see her reaction or ask her to put your finger where she is most sensitive.....play like that for awhile......while you are watching her reaction and her clit at the same time......also if you insert your finger and rub the inside kinda under the clit...that also will help...You can also ask her to show you where it feels good.....

My clit isnt as sensetive as some.....i like mine sucked hard and nibbled a little.....maybe she might also...
