Goulash is a mixture of meat (like ground beef), noodles, tomatoes...and I can't remember what else. Could be that is why I never make it, even though I like it.

Just looked up "goulash" on recipesource.com....and there are many different ways to make it. Mostly, beef, tomatoes/tomato paste/tomato sauce, onion, garlic, salt, seasonings (basil and marjoram seem to be popular). There are 3 pages of recipes on that site.
