Hello,

As far as I know I do not think it is possible unless the story has been posted here and is also for sale on say Amazon as well.

If you want (grey area, very murky copyright issue) copy and paste the story that you like into word and convert it to the right format (mobi or azw) in a programme such as calibre (freeware) that might work if you don't mind putting the work in.

thank you driftwood

even if your reply seems to be, "not possible." I wanted to be able to read Literotica stories from my kindle. I tried to download my New Yorker onto my kindle (been a subscfiber for more than 10 years now, but Amazon told me I'd have to cancel my subscription (I get a hard copy now) and subscribe through Amazon to get it on my kindle.

Not really sure...and this requires some cut & paste...but you cut and paste the story into...oh say...wordpad or similar app. Save as an RTF. Download Calibre, convert the .rtf to .modi and upload to the Kindle via a USB cable.

A lot of work I know...or you could just by an Android tablet and use the Literotica Android App.

First one...low cost, a lot of work.

Second one, costly and easy.

thanks

Isn't that always true: cost low, hard..cost high easy.?

I use an old MacBook OsX (10.5) with text edit. It works fine if I cut and paste into TextEdit , then save as HTML before sending Calibre. Then put onto Kindle. If I save as rtf it comes back missing the first word of each paragraph as well as paragraph breaks.

The best way, which is not to say the easiest, is probably to cut and paste the story you want into a Word file (or whatever word processor you use) and then save or export it to a format the Kindle can read. In my experience, the best format is Mobipocket, or .mobi, but it can read other formats.

Kindle's native format is now AZW3, but also will understand Mobipocket files (MOBI, PRC), plain text files (TXT), Topaz format books (TPZ) formats. The Kindle 2 can also display HTML files stored on the unit.

The fourth/fifth generation Kindles, Kindle Touch, and Kindle Paperwhite (1st and 2nd generation) can display AZW, AZW3, TXT, PDF, unprotected MOBI, and PRC files natively. HTML, DOC, DOCX, JPEG, GIF, PNG, and BMP are usable through conversion. The Touch and Touch 3G can also play Audible Enhanced (AA, AAX) and MP3 files.

Amazon offers an email-based service that will convert GIF, PNG, and BMP graphics to AZW. Amazon will also convert HTML pages and Microsoft Word (DOC or DOCX) documents through the same email-based mechanism, which will send a Kindle-formatted file to the device via 3G for $0.15 per MB or via Wi-Fi for free. In addition, this service can send unprotected Mobi files to a user's Kindle. These services can be accessed by Kindle devices, iOS devices running Kindle app version 2.9 or greater, and Android devices running Kindle app version 3.5 or greater.

Of course all these formats are available in Calibre for free.

I pay nothing using the amazon service I listed above, and kindle paper white reads word docs beautifully. Better than pdfs. I email the file to my kindle email address. Totally free.

Kindle paperboard or any kindle as far as I know .Will display doc, txt, or pdf files. You will also have an email address attached to your Kindle. The easiest way to get stories onto your Kindle is to use a word processor to convert it to an acceptable format then email it as an attachment to your Kindle.

To make this work you will have to go to the "manage my kindle" web page and tell it to accept emails from the sender's address, but you only have to do that once.
