Hello newbies...

That's how you can tell you're a real author. A limerick for every occasion. ;)

You're too kind.

I used to have one limerick posted on Lit.

There once was a man from Nantucket
Whose dick was so long he could suck it.
So he did.
Wouldn't you?

;)

Gawd. I'm not even a dude and that still makes me squinch my legs together in pain.
(It's the hopping that does it.)
 :D

BWAH!

OK, call me evil, but the thought of a little frog hopping with giant gonads made me laugh out loud.

Scared the cat.

:D
*bows* Spank you very much, Miss Sarahh.

Well, I've read about the differences between this board and the GB. I didn't believe them, until now.
What did you hear about us that you didn't believe? :D

Quick, quote some esoteric 14th century Moldavian poet to earn back our street cred.
Wee spend our mid-day sweat, or mid-night oyle;
Wee tyre the night in thought; the day in toyle.

How about a little opinionated but not flaming political commentary?

"I use Rhodesia as a way of signaling that I am unreconciled to Mugabe and shall remain so."

I should hope so, seeing how he's turned the breadbasket of Africa into a dictatorial kleptocracy (is there such a thing as a "thugocracy?"); destroyed its economy and driven the population to the verge of starvation and by stealing productive farms from their owners and turning them over to masses with no knowledge or even desire to farm. It's an incredible man-made tragedy. It an extent I suppose it's emblematic of what's taken place in most of the continent.

It's a bit of a repeat, and it's not as updated as the post Cloudy just put together for KarmaKitty, but I always liked this thread. Comfy but snarkable. :D
Feel like we haven't seen a similar one for awhile. Or maybe I'm just partial.
So I'm bumping. And will also remind Cloudy to give all the newbs a very important lesson about PERSIA. And source citation during arguments. :p

Damn! I forgot about the PERSIANS!

They live in Greece, you know.

:D

*nods*

Right on the river Nile.

That was possibly the funniest thing I've ever read in a post, simply because he was serious. :D

Shanglan and I had way too much fun with it.

 I think I'm glad I missed it. geez!

oh, no...you would of liked it, honest. We wasted an entire night making fun of the guy, and he never even caught on, I swear.

There are definitely worse ways to spend an evening than laughing like hell with Shang. :)

He's still floating around, making a fool of himself on the Story Ideas board quite regularly.

He's currently making a guest appearance on the How To board after a flailing at the Editors.

Oh, my. Is THAT who it was? I'd honestly forgotten, though I remember laughing throughout the thread.

Cloudy - do you have a link to it?

He supplied that ultimate quote :D

There was another as well, not quite as good, but just as much fun. I went to bed with the thread on track and woke up to PERSIA. It was very confusing pre coffee ;)
