Is there any way to block authors from the story listings pages? There are some authors on this site (none of them on this board) who bug the living bejesus out of me, and I think it would be better for my mental health if I never even saw their submissions.

His stories are boring, full of body parts and measurements, repetitive (even of his earlier stories), and rather racist. (African-Americans can be racist too.) He has to submit one or more every day. And I swear he submits them at 12:01 am so his submissions can be first in line for the day.
And another one is He Who Cannot Be Named. (I've been lurking on this board for a long time.)

There you go...just ignore them, the mind is a wonderful thing, don't waste it on those you don't like.
There are those that I refuse to read so I just don't...seeing their name sometimes upsets me but then I move on to other things and completely forget about them.

OK, I have to be devil's advocate here.
Are you sure that Fatbarker isn't an alt of SamuelX trying to get even more people to read his stories.......co's let's face it, don't try and kid me we aren't all now curious to read one (or more) of Sam's stories just to see what the problem is?

I think that if you use firefox , there's a newish plugin called greasemonkey. it utilises little java scrip t bits so that you can control things that sites normally control. I haven't messed with it much, but it might be able to block specific words who knows?
