Tonight I am going to start working on a character for my first story. I am excited and apprehensive about it. Nobody I know has ever thought "Hey, erotic fiction. That sounds interesting, fun, and not at all strange." I hope to produce a story anyway.

Also, it makes me feel very welcome to see the nice people who reached out to say hi.

Hello! Meet me, greet me, and HELP ME! I am a computer dummy and this is probably the most difficult website I've ever dealt with.

I haven't written a story to submit yet, but I did have a picture. I can't figure out how to submit that. Any advice that anyone has on absolutely anything will be appreciated. So far, I'm really glad I joined and I'm really looking forward to meeting some cool people and writing my first ever story!

CS, how do you know it's erotica, not porn? What's the difference between port and erotica? I don't even describe my stories as porn; I just call them smut.

The Difference

Erotica is different from porn in that in order to enjoy erotica, one must not only be able to read, but also be able to imagine what he or she is reading. Porn goes directly from the eyes to the sex parts of the brain. Erotica has to swirl around a bit before it goes to the sex part.
